I have always been interested in theatre and entertainment from a very early age. Being actively involved with various amateur groups I noticed many companies were willing to supply technical equipment. However, these were at inflated rates, well above the amateur groups’ budgets. I also observed that it was all about ‘what do you want?’ rather than ‘how can we help?’
This needed to change; as a result in September 1985, One Stage Productions® was born to address this gap in the market. With an attitude of ‘how can we help you present your show/event excitingly and professionally while maintaining acceptable budgets’. Wow, where has the time gone?
One Stage Productions® consequently continues to maintain reliable and first-class services to our customers providing sales and hire in: lighting, sound, prefabricated and custom-built staging and special effects – our core business. Another facility we introduced in 2018 is a 24/7 online Box Office to relieve you of the stress of managing your ticketing and make it easy for your patrons to purchase their tickets. As a result, this new service has been heralded by our customers as a great success.
