After carefully researching microphones for podcasting, musical vocal and acoustic instrument recording, I dropped John a message to see if he was able to supply me with it (and I could support a local business). John promptly got back to me and although he didn’t have the mic I was looking for, he did spend some time with me, comparing models and we decided to go with a different brand entirely. I purchased a single loudspeaker to replace one that had failed.  I was lucky to find it at One Stage Productions as it is no longer manufactured…and at a very good price.  John was really helpful in taking my order over the phone.  Delivery was next day…communication was brilliant so that I knew what was happening  and when at every step.  A pleasure to do business with.

I purchased a HeyMic wireless clip-mic from John at One Stage Productions and I was really pleased with it. It’s simple to use, works well whether the subject is close by or many metres away, and has a superb sound quality. I produced a video using my phone, linked wirelessly to the HeyMic and there was no echo (despite it being a small-ish room) and no extraneous noise, just a very clear pickup of my voice. I would seriously recommend getting one if you want to ensure quality in your videos.
